God’s Mysteries and Paradoxes: Looking through the Glass, Darkly by Dr. Carroll M. Helm

God’s Mysteries and Paradoxes: Looking through the Glass Darkly is a book about paradoxes and how they were actually created by God to bring unique enlightenment but also to confound the so-called earthly wisdom. Paradoxes also keep believers humble by showing them that God’s ways are not always man’s ways.

“For this is what the high and lofty One says-he who lives forever, whose name is holy; I live in a high and holy place but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite (Isaiah 57: 15)”

This book introduces the reader to the ancient idea of “The Divine Paradox” written by Hermes Tristmegistus (thrice great) in The Divine Pylander. An additional book, Corpus Hermeticum, was translated by Marsilo Ficino during the early Renaissance and helps frame the philosophical paradox of nature versus faith. This book, along with other fragments written by Hermes Trismegistus, was translated in the early 1400s and caused a rebirth of its teachings during the Renaissance.

Modern secret societies and the occult are using much of the same knowledge to deceive people in the world today. Evidence shows Albertus Magnus, Roger Bacon, and the Knights Templar possessed ancient knowledge and from it gave rise to secret organizations and societies operating today, including the Illuminati, Freemasons, and modern occultists.

Carroll M. Helm recently retired as associate professor of education at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina. He is a career educator serving as teacher, principal community college dean, and university professor. He resides with his wife, Edna, in Mount Holly, North Carolina.

Children of a Living Universe: Discovering Our Legacy Will Change Our Future by Paul Von Ward

Children of a Living Universe is a call to action unlike any other you may have encountered. According to cultural historian and cosmologist Paul Von Ward, the time has come for human beings to reassess just about everything we believe about our ancestry and global past. Drawing upon forgotten prehistory, clues from the world’s esoteric traditions, and new research in consciousness, Von Ward asserts we are more powerful beings than either science or religion has led us to believe. He exhorts us to embrace a bold, new model of human existence, one that explains our celestial origins, multidimensional capacities, and destiny as conscious co-creators of a self-learning and self-correcting universe.

With insight and clarity, Von Ward envisions that the discovery of our true legacy will inspire a global renaissance of inner knowing and unprecedented social progress. He sees humanity assuming its place as part of a universal community of conscious beings, and fulfilling our potential to serve as galactic leaders. Children of a Living Universe is a brilliant guide to this new and essential process in human spiritual evolution.

Previously published as Our Solarian Legacy.

Interdisciplinary cosmologist & psychologist, Paul is known internationally for his concept of “natural spirituality” based in an evolving, self-learning universe; research on the apparent intervention of advanced beings (ABs) in human development; and evidence of the survival of the individuated soul-genome.
