A conversation with Rupert Spira about the unfolding of his realization.

From an early age Rupert was deeply interested in the nature of Reality. For twenty years he studied the teachings of Ouspensky, Krishnamurti, Rumi, Shankaracharya, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta and Robert Adams, until he met his teacher, Francis Lucille, twelve years ago. Francis introduced Rupert to the teaching of Jean Klein, Parmenides, Wei Wu Wei and Atmananda Krishnamenon and, more importantly, directly indicated to him the true nature of experience.

Rupert’s first book is “The Transparency of Things,” subtitled “Contemplating the Nature of Experience”. His second book, “Presence Volume I The Art of Peace and Happiness and Presence Volume II The Intimacy of All Experience” has been currently released by Non-Duality Press. http://non-duality.rupertspira.com/

i-matter: A Clear Path to Living a Balanced Life Between the Material & Spiritual Worlds ~ Tracy Sohl (Author), Keanan Ahern (Editor)

This book is part philosophy, part self-help, and part spirituality.

It explains why the universe works as it does, how we fit in the universe, and how we can live a balanced life.

This book is for those who want to be spiritual, but in a practical way.

After years of studying many philosophies on life, science, and spirituality, I came across a quote by Thomas Edison. He said, “Atoms have intelligence, and the intelligence of man is the sum of the intelligence of the atoms that compose his body.” A light bulb went off (excuse the pun).

Atoms are matter. Atoms have intelligence. Matter is intelligent. We are matter. We are Intelligent Matter.

I took this thought and looked into it deeper. I discovered what it really means to be intelligent. I discovered how we as humans are meant to be intelligent matter of the Universe and how history shows in general that is how we live. Our desires and needs are just sensors that are trying to guide us in being Intelligent Matter.

As you read this book, you will discover what it means to be intelligent and the features of man that make him intelligent.
This book doesn’t create anything new. It takes what is already out there and explains it in “plain terms”. You don’t have to be a spiritual guru to live an intelligent life. This book is for everyday people with everyday lives. There is no certification program that has to be completed to become intelligent. We are born intelligent. We just need to live as Intelligent Matter.

Take the information in this book, mix it with your own common sense, and you will understand how the Universe works and how simple it is to be i-matter: Intelligent Matter.

The information you are about to read will show how life works on a daily, yearly, and life-time basis. After reading this book, knowing life’s purpose will no longer be an issue. You will be focused on living as you were meant to live.

The sooner you start reading, the sooner you will start living.

About the Author
Q & A for Tracy Sohl

What books have influenced your life the most?

All books influence my life. But I would have to say that my favorite book is “The Harvest of a Quiet Eye” by Odell Shepard. It was written in 1927. He was dismayed by how the automobile was changing the way life was lived. He wanted to remember a time when people walked to get where they wanted to go. So he took one last adventure and walked across Connecticut, starting in New York. The book is filled with stories, poems and sketches. It reminds me that life has always been changing and always will.

What was the hardest part of writing i-matter?

The hardest part of writing my book was letting it go out into the world. i-matter is filled with my personal thoughts and beliefs. Letting it out into the world is to trust the world with myself.

What did you learn while writing i-matter?

Chapter 9 was my “ah-ha” moment. I learned that the Material World is the world of order and the Spiritual World is the world of chaos. If you want more possibilities in your life, you need to embrace chaos. Order reduces possibilities and chaos creates them.

What draws you to this topic?

My unending desire to learn keeps me drawn to this topic. I want to embrace life and to embrace life is to learn as much as you can about it and use that information to make life fulfilling.
