The 10 Healing Truths Of the Soul

As I was researching and writing my first metaphysical novel, I was also working on myself, trying to prove that healing from trauma was possible. My intent was to seek and find healing truths––be they from ancient wisdom teachings, modern medicine or my own inner epiphanies––and share my discoveries through my characters in a suspenseful story that was both entertaining and enlightening.

God, the Infinite Source of All That Is, is within you
God (or if you prefer Great Spirit, Almighty, Higher Power, the Infinite or you fill in the blank) is not just up in the sky, in nature, all around us, or found only in a specific religion, church or synagogue. “The Kingdom of God is within you.”

Being aware of and understanding this Truth is so important that Jesus said to “Seek it first and all else will be added to you.”

When you truly connect with and internalize this Truth, you will be astounded. You will learn who you truly are and what your life purpose is.

In my experience, it’s the road back to freedom, the most important “secret” not only for healing, but also for wholeness, happiness––everything. Therefore, it’s No. 1 on my list.
Definitely worth repeating.

The Kingdom of God is within you

Your consciousness is your awareness, understanding and knowledge of Truth in the present––the eternal now. Through your consciousness, you connect to the part of you that is God and All That Is, including the fulfillment of all your desires.
This God-part has been called I AM Presence, Christ Self, God Self, Higher Self, True Self and the like. But no matter what you call it, it’s the divine all-powerful God-part of you that sees and creates only the greatest, grandest and most perfect life filled with Love, Peace, Joy, Beauty, Health, Harmony, Right Relationships, Freedom and Abundance in Abundance.

The closer we get to uniting consciously and fully with it, the more of life’s joys, secrets and solutions are revealed to us from within, and the more our lives are uplifted and fulfilled with our greatest desires.

We get closer to the God Self through meditation

In meditation and our present awareness of the God Self within, we are able to quiet the busyness of the mind and consciously go into the silent now, where all possibility exists and your God Self’s “still small voice” can be heard.

In this way, we are continually growing the connection toward total unity with our God Self.

The mind is becoming more receptive to the love, power and activity of Truth, and as it does so, our individual vibration rises. As we raise our vibration, the “all else is added to you” is able to come about.

Your consciousness attracts and produces more of the same vibration

A consciousness of need simply produces more need. A consciousness of being a victim produces more experiences that portray you as a victim. A consciousness of great and lavish abundance produces … yep, you guessed it: great and lavish abundance. high vibration

Why and how? You must first understand that it’s a scientific and universal spiritual law that everything is made of and from energy. And energy follows thought, even if the thought is subconscious and contained in a false belief. It is also a law that everything seeks out a vibration like its own––like attracts like.

Thinking a thought over and over attracts more of the same and becomes a belief. If you believe and visualize it, even if it’s false and done unconsciously, the thought will out-picture in your life experience.

This is the way we co-create our life experience: thoughts, beliefs, visualizing–repeating. Therefore, it behooves you to pay attention to your thoughts and meditate daily to consciously uncover what you truly believe and see about yourself (in your identity, mind, emotions and body). Surrender your false beliefs (most are) because they block the Truth and create the suffering in your life. Focus on developing a consciousness of Truth.
Surrendering false beliefs is not the same thing as giving up

Surrendering is not about sacrifice. It isn’t even about giving up. It’s about consciously acknowledging and releasing everything and all the false programming in your life to the Kingdom of God within for healing and correction. The goal is to replace false programming and beliefs with Truth. Try it. And repeat.

Don’t get stuck in religious dogma

Religious dogma is man-made and it’s easy to get confused, stuck in it and take on all sorts of false beliefs about it. I acknowledge that religious dogma has been the source of a lot of pain and suffering, and with some, there’s a tendency to want to just throw it all out and be agnostic.

Nevertheless, it’s in our tremendous best interest to connect with the God-Self within to enable us to discern between what is Truth in religion (it’s not all false) and what are the dogmatic, man-made perversions of Truth created for the purpose of control and other nefarious reasons. Throw out the dogma and false beliefs (always rooted in fear), but keep the ones based in Truth (always rooted in Love).

There are dark forces in this world that prevent you from knowing the truth

A lot of people don’t want to think about this. But there are dark forces in this world that operate outside of the visible light vibration that we see, although intuitive and empathic people can perceive their vibrations. The dark forces work to control, manipulate and use people, especially those without a strong God Self connection, as vehicles for their malevolent goals.
They don’t want you to heal. They don’t want you to know the magnificent Truth of who you truly are.

Your consciousness (awareness, understanding and knowledge) of Truth, however, makes you safe and untouchable by them, which is why they work so hard to keep people in ignorance. Be aware of this and move fearlessly forward.

Soul Retrieval is an effective healing tool

Soul loss can happen when we experience something bad or traumatic that we don’t want to face. Pieces of our soul, which is comprised of our identity, mind, emotions and body, can break and leave us to escape the full impact of a trauma. Sometimes these soul pieces do not come back, and we are left with the feeling that something is missing from our being. It is both true and painful.

It can lead to illness, both physically and mentally. The good news is that with the help of a loving and qualified shaman who knows how to perform the ancient healing ritual of Soul Retrieval, your lost soul parts, energy and power can be restored and the holes in your energy field can be healed. It is a wonderful way to start, or jump start, a healing journey.

Smudging really does transform negative energy into positive

After moving into a new home recently, I discovered that there was one room that had a creepy, negative feel to it. So based on what I had learned from my research about the science of smudging and spirit medicine for my character Bears Repeating, I experimented with burning sage in the room while consciously calling in the transforming power of Spirit, guides and angels. The result? All I can say is that the room now feels like a sanctuary.

We are all on a spiritual journey

Please know that this list is part of my current understanding and knowledge of Healing Truths at this point on my personal spiritual journey.

In fact, I could write a book or two about them. But for now, my wish and prayer is that as you walk your own spiritual journey, and that you have found something useful and inspirational within this Top 10 list.
