Bernardo Kastrup – Religion, Reality and The Meaning of Life: Part One

Published on Jun 18, 2016

Bernardo Kastrup discusses his book More Than Allegory – On Religious Myth, Truth, and Belief. View Here As a journey into the rabbit hole we call reality, its ultimate destination is a plausible, living validation of transcendence. It puts forward the controversial notion that many religious myths are actually true, argues that our own inner storytelling plays a surprising role in creating the seeming concreteness of things and the tangibility of history, and suggests, in the form of a myth, how deeply ingrained belief systems create the world we live in.

In a Universe seemingly devoid of meaning and purpose where matter is all that matters, our souls are at war with our intellects, and the consequences for life on Earth may yet prove disastrous. Maybe it is time for us to remember who we really are – both magician and audience, dreamer and dream, from a realm beyond language where time and space are illusions, and the very nature of truth itself may not be what it seems. We are the universe becoming aware of itself. We know what God cannot know.

Through the Portals of Time: Creation to Now By Patricia A. Nelson and Flora L. Ash

To those who seek the light-all that is presented to you is to awaken the light within you. There are a variety of teachings touched upon that have come from Spirit, covering many ages of time.

Have you ever wondered how many days it really took for the Creator of all to form the Earth and the universe, and did this divine being have assistants? If so, who were they? For what reason were we created, and where do we go from here? What about the Invisible worlds-you can read about the hereafter-where loved ones reside and how you are building your home on the other side while residing in the physical. Learn many profound truths, those “aha moments!” There are plenty.

There is a different insight into the biblical creation. The Bible has been and is a help and guide to many. Rumi, a thirteenth-century Persian poet, says it best on what the authors have written, “Love is the religion and the Universe is the book.” Love for all humanity through forgiveness along with universal laws, universal truths, and how the stars correlate to our very being.

Patricia A. Nelson and Flora L. Ash are teachers and longtime students of esoteric and metaphysical studies in this new age of spiritual enlightenment. They teach classes, present lectures and workshops regarding spiritual enrichment. Both women call mid-Michigan their home and reside there with their families.

The New Age of Aquarius is upon us and there is much that man is to know and learn.

Before the beginning of time there was only God and Truth. There were no planets, moons or stars; everything was void of all life and form. Then God brought the nothingness together and created the heavens and earth and man.

Much has been written down throughout the ages about creation and man’s role. Many schools of philosophy and metaphysics have come into being to help man understand the Truths that the Universe has for him. These schools have aided man in helping him to gain an understanding of the causes and principles underlying life. They have also helped him to learn how to make adjustments within himself to promote growth and progression of the soul as well as bring harmony into his daily life.

A lot of information has been gained but there is still more for man to know and learn to aid him in his continued spiritual growth. Now is the time for that added knowledge and Truth. Truth has always been and never changes, the only changes are how man interprets Truth. Many Truths will be presented to you. At first they may seem difficult for you to assimilate but what we ask is that you maintain an open mind.

It has been said “the truth shall set you free.” Wouldn’t it be wonderful to experience and live that freedom? It can be acquired by understanding what the Holy Bible is all about. Too many take it literally when much of it was written allegorically due to the ignorance of the people of that time period. It had to be told in story form to hold their attention. The Old Testament was written for that time period and is now read as a history book. The Ten Commandments were needed because they were living in such a material manner. They needed physical laws to help them reform.

Now we are aware of materialism, that it is only for our comfort while on earth, and we should not make it our God. We need to lean more toward spiritual matters as Jesus taught. Jesus spent many hours with his disciples teaching them the true meaning of these allegorical stories. He brought grace into our lives for as we are aware and abide by the Ten Commandments, what we need now to learn is how to raise ourselves up into the spiritual pattern from whence we originated.

As you embrace this material you will learn how to obtain growth and development for it is throughout on how to aid one in achieving a more useful and happier life.

Each of the Ten Chapters and Supplemental are filled with much information and answers many questions.
