The Phoenix Generation: A New Era of Connection, Compassion, and Consciousness by Kingsley L. Dennis (Author)

According to futurist and sociologist, Kingsley L. Dennis, humanity is entering a momentous phase in its history. Being born today is a generation of children that will radically reinvent human society, moving our culture from competition, control, and censorship toward connection, communication, and compassion. The Phoenix Generation’s impact will begin to be felt in 2030, but there much to do to prepare for their arrival.

The book is divided into three parts. Part one briefly describes the thorny issues (e.g. global warming, nationalism, and food and water shortages) that the solution-oriented ways of the Phoenix will resolve. Dennis posits that the generations of adults living today are the bridge to the Phoenix and he shows how such developments as the worldwide web and the explosion of mobile technologies are paving the way for them. Part two describes the changes in our own consciousness being brought about by technology and what we need to do to speed their arrival. Part three gives details how the Phoenix generation will be different from us.

The Phoenix Generation will work toward forming a planetary society’s transition more radical than the shift from agrarian to urban life during the Industrial Revolution. These children are being born with increased instinctive intelligence and with a greater degree of inherited wisdom. With them, the quantum revolution begun 100 years ago will become mainstream. This will bring about a shift away from external dependencies (e.g. our dependency on higher education for career advancement). This normalizing of new perspectives, cosmic awareness, and of multi-dimensional realities will usher in a great wave of change. The Phoenix Generation is a deeply positive examination of our collective future.

Kingsley Dennis Interview Outside The Box Part 1

Published on Jun 10, 2014
My talk with Kingsley Dennis about our rapidly changing society and the necessity that we take control of our own destiny, as we enter a new epoch of consciousness, a tipping point, where for the first time in history we can all consciously participate in reshaping and manifesting the future, and that we can no longer rely, and focus on government to do it for us.
We discuss a changing of mind sets, a recalibration, with new thinking patterns, values, communication, connection and compassion supporting a new energy that transcends suppression, releasing ourselves from old patterns of dependency, and a return to self empowerment and self belief. Kingsley talks of new models and priorities, true riches, happiness, re evaluating and redefining success, to find true riches, and the importance of personal balance and sanity as a prerequisite for global peace and balance, with a new era upon us with young people finding empathy and a diverse connectivity between them. Kingsley reminds us that chaos and dissatisfaction are opportunities to construct and sow seeds for something better, creating a collective awakening to change the global playing field for a new evolution.

New Seeds For Earth: Poems 2013 by Kingsley L. Dennis

New Seeds For Earth is the author’s first new collection of poetry in five years. In those intervening years the author wrote almost no new poetry, focusing instead upon his research publications and books. In 2013 a new seed of inspiration bloomed – and produced this book you now hold in your hands. Thirty-seven nameless poems – and twelve beautiful original colour photographs – bring to life the author’s internal world as he tries to reach out to those ‘almost imperceptible spaces of humanity.’ As the author writes in one of his poems – And like a lemon grove of softened beds, of indistinct smells, I feel the flow of the thousands of decisions that have finally brought me here to this moment.

Kingsley Dennis, PhD, is a sociologist, researcher, and writer. He is the author of ‘Dawn of the Akashic Age’ (2013 – co-written with Ervin Laszlo); ‘Breaking the Spell'(2013); ‘New Revolutions for a Small Planet’ (2012); ‘The Struggle for Your Mind: Conscious Evolution & The Battle to Control How We Think’ (2012); and ‘New Consciousness for a New World’ (2011). He is also the co-editor of ‘The New Science & Spirituality Reader'(2012).He is also the co-author, with Prof. John Urry, of ‘After the Car’ (Polity, 2009), which examines post-peak oil societies and mobility.

Kingsley worked in the Sociology Dept. at Lancaster University, UK, and is now a visiting fellow at the Centre for Mobilities Research (CeMoRe) at Lancaster Uni.

Kingsley is the author of numerous articles on global technologies, new media communications, modern lifestyles, well-being, science & spirituality, and conscious evolution. In Your Body is the Garden of Flowers – A Tapestry of Tales by Kingsley L. Dennis

‘In Your Body is the Garden of Flowers – A Tapestry of Tales’ is a dreamlike voyage that takes the reader through a multilevel scape of stories that weave together. It is a hazy work of fiction that masks many lucid truths. Nothing seems quite real in these tales, as the reader is taken almost imperceptibly through the door of each one. There are two principle narrative threads running simultaneously; each distinct yet somehow interlinked. As if a metaphor for our current sense of reality, the tales make us question the very validity of our waking hours. Beguiling and enchanting.

This short & poetic book of interweaving tales is one that I have self-published online. Originally I wrote it without the intention of publishing it – letting it lie as a pdf download. I then decided to offer it as a Kindle e-book for those wishing to read it on a device preferable to a pdf! Finally, I have decided to make it available as a print-on-demand paperback – at a very reasonable price: the price of the printing!

It consists of stories within stories – many of them reminiscent of old dervish tales. I have also written two parallel ‘narrative’ threads that weave together….and somehow I have attempted to bring the reader back to the beginning, at the end – and to know the place for the first time (as TS Eliot would say!)….. enjoy the ride….. 🙂

Dawn of the Akashic Age New Consciousness, Quantum Resonance, and the Future of the World By (author) Ervin Laszlo By (author) Kingsley L. Dennis

About Dawn of the Akashic Age
A preview of the post-mechanistic, holistic world in 2020 and 2030 as well as a map of the obstacles we must overcome to get there

• Reveals how the youngest generation is seeding the shift in consciousness

• Explains how society will be reorganized into grassroots networks like those revealed by quantum physics and experienced through social media

• With contributions from futurist John L. Petersen, ex-CEO of Sanyo Tomoya Nonaka, media activist Duane Elgin, and other visionaries

The world is changing. The transition from the mechanistic worldview to one that recognizes the interconnectedness of all life is upon us. It is the dawning of the Akashic Age. The Akashic field that connects the universe is now recognized by cutting-edge science. What we know about communication, energy, and consciousness is rapidly evolving in tandem with the new quantum worldview. Many adults are consciously evolving to meet the transitional challenges at hand, while today’s youth have arrived already hard-wired with the new consciousness. Rising from the ashes of the old systems, this Phoenix generation of radical change agents is seeding our evolution and spiritual transformation, a process that will continue over the next few decades.

Authors Ervin Laszlo and Kingsley Dennis look at the chief engine of the coming changes–the growing global understanding of nonlocality–and the development of practical applications for it. They examine how the new values and new consciousness taking hold will reorganize society from top-down hierarchies into grassroots networks like those revealed through quantum physics’ understanding of energy and information waves and experienced daily by millions through social media.

With contributions from visionary thinkers such as futurist John L. Petersen, ex-CEO of Sanyo Tomoya Nonaka, media activist Duane Elgin, systems scientist Alexander Laszlo, and spiritual economist Charles Eisenstein, this book explores the future of education, spirituality, the media, economics, food, and planetary citizenship as well as the expansion of consciousness necessary to reach that future.

Is there a role for spirituality in a time of crisis? Can it be of help in facing and eventually overcoming the crisis?

The answer, given in the four stupendous contributions to this Round of the Forum on Science & Spirituality, is a resounding YES. Crisis is both danger and opportunity. The danger is that the systems that drive our world take us to a point of no return where the world collapses around us; and the opportunity is to change the dynamic of the systems so they would take us toward a world that is more equitable, sustainable, and peaceful. To achieve this “worldshift” we need both dependable information and deep insight: the former from science, and the latter from spirituality. We can’t make it without either of them. But with both, we have a chance.

Gregg Braden and Bruce Lipton diagnose the nature of the crisis in which we find ourselves and highlight the nature of the insights we need to cope with it. Joanna Macy and Duane Elgin offer specific advice regarding the insights and the practices we need to face the crisis. Together they paint a concise yet clear and trenchant image of what is wrong with the world, and how we could change our thinking and actions to right it.

When writing is as clear and pertinent as this, there is no need to comment. We cannot point to one or another of the elements of information and advice it conveys, we would need to point to all of it. But there is no need to cite the whole of these worldshifting blogs, for they can be read here in their entirety. And read and read. And taken to heart and to mind, so they could inspire our heart and inform our mind. With inspiration coming from the great spiritual traditions, and information from the leading edge of the sciences, we can empower ourselves to change, both profoundly and urgently. Then we have a chance to change the world.

The world needs to change, profoundly and urgently. And nothing and nobody could change it but us. ~ Dr. Ervin Lazlo
